This is an 1800s, antique empire sofa which will require reasonable care when handling. We have moved it several times without issue, but it has been carefully blanket wrapped and placed where it will not rub against other items or the walls of the truck.  

 

I have one sofa in storage across the street from my house and the chair is in my house. The sofa is wrapped already.
