Cheap Rocking Chair Shipping Services

 

 

Care required to prevent damage in transporting.  

 

This is a handmade rocking chair (yes it is delicate but as long as it is not thrown around or something stacked on top of it, it should be fine). The dimension are roughly 43Lx27wx46H (big but light - less than 35 pounds). As you can see from the pics, it is wrapped in blankets, wrap and cardboard on the rockers. I can have it boxed if required but think additional moving blankets and tape are probably the best option. This will be a residential to residential. I'm told the pickup address is a large cul-de-sac That full size garbage trucks can u-turn on w/o issue and the destination is easy for anything (loop access with two entry/exits and just a few minutes off I-24). Date is not terribly important.  

 

Please insure the item, and blanket wrap it. We will help make pick up and delivery as easy as possible amidst this Covid-19 time. We have a loading dock that is easy to come and pick up from, without contacting anyone else, and as for drop off, you can communicate with the customer on the other end for dropping off smoothly without much contact. We ship all over the country and we hope to use you in the future as well!  

 

An appointment with the auction house will be required for pick-up, as they are closed due to COVID-19.  

Rocker is already put together. Not in box or wrapped. If possible please wrap in moving blanket. Photo available on request.  

 

 

On our end it would be deliver 30 feet up 3 steps. I am inquiring about pickup.  

 

Please call a day before you pick it up in Azusa. I’m unable to package the chair for transport. The movers will need to box it up or otherwise protect it in their usual way. If it’s easier to deliver the chair to Atlanta rather than Moreland it can be arranged.  

No couch just the boxes and trunk It's not much.. come crocks and tools that my dad left me the 2 rocking chairs are light and stackable but very old.. These items will be moved from my sisters house to my home in Texas. The items are in her basement so its one flight of steps. We have a one story house. We are not in any hurry.. just before June, please.  

 

Handle items with care. We have prepared them for shipment. Small dresser, removed back of top and wheels, cardboard corners and shrink wrapped. Folding screen, removed fabric panels and secured panels together with shrink wrap. Sewing table, closed with wheels removed, cardboard corners and shrink wrapped. Please instruct how to prepare rocking chair and marble slab/wrought iron stand table.  

Sooner the better !
