Shipper should be very experienced in knowing how to properly move and set-up a Grandfather Clock so that it is in proper running condition at it's new destination. This process includes removing, labeling and properly packing the Brass Pendulum and Brass Tubular Weights from the Grandfather Clock and then safely wrapping and packing those internal items in a separate container outside of the cabinet of the Grandfather Clock. The Grandfather Clock cabinet should be properly blanket-wrapped and then secured in an enclosed moving truck so that no damage occurs to the mahogany Grandfather Clock cabinet or the internal mechanical clock mechanism. The preferred method is to secure the clock cabinet inside of an enclosed moving truck in an upright position or flat on it's back. The Grandfather Clock cabinet should NEVER be laid on it's side nor should the Grandfather Clock ever be laid face down as this will permanently damage the internal mechanical clock mechanism.

We have moved furniture no less than 7 times and are experienced packers. There will be help on both ends for loading/unloading. Weight estimates are on the high side - likely weigh less. A separate estmate for Item#1 (grandfather clock) would be appreciated.
