Cheap Futon Shipping Services

 

I am moving from studio loft apartment in Richmond VA to a apartment in Arlington VA. I have approximately packaged 15 boxes all of which will not be heavy, and movable by 1 person, 1 queens sized bed including frame, 1 shelf, 1 futon, 1 dresser, and 1 very small side table. Bed must be taken apart, for transport, and then but back together once at final location.  

Will have things packed ahead of time and ready to be loaded. The futon and table/chairs are in basement. Table is already broken down. Everything will go into storage in San Antonio.

The following is what I need to move: -the 3 items pictured here (dresser, desk, and chair) -5 large boxes that will be packed with clothing, blankets, books, and kitchen items -a disassembled platform bed which will be 4 pieces of wooden boards and a slatted wooden base -lightweight Ikea mattress that is lighter than a futon mattress and is not a regular mattress I live in a 1st floor studio apartment.  

just need to move 2 pieces of furniture back home from school on or about may 25th  

 

Pick up from apartment building with freight elevator and drop off at house with a few steps at front door.  

I really don't know the weights of the furniture, so I guestimated -- 50 lbs. Just need 5 items moved to Charlotte, please. Would be perfect in a cargo van but it seems IMPOSSIBLE to rent a ONE-WAY cargo van. Thank you for looking.  

I will need my computer monitor, my bike and a small tv packaged by who ever i accept. along with my futon broken down packaged and reassembled. Ive gotten more then one quote for 12-1500 from reputable companies. But im looking for lower then this since i have so little to move  

Less than a studio's apartment worth of furniture. No mattress with futon. Smaller items (books, electronics) will be consolidated into 30 to 60 quart plastic storage containers. Apartment is on 1st floor with ramp at front entrance.  

Most furniture can be dissembled and transport as parts, if necessary.  

 

Have a freight elevator and parking spot I can reserve for move-out--things are nice and easy here. Moving in I'm not as sure about, I'm on the 4th floor but there is an elevator, don't know about parking. Futon, TV and TV stand may not be coming, but if they are they need to be wrapped up. Please quote as if they are coming--if I leave them behind, just makes your job easier.  

 

 

 

 

 

I'm moving 1 street (about 2 blocks over). i only will need a queen size futon, 2 ikea dressers, a sofa, and 2 small arm chairs moved.
