Cheap Closet Shipping Services

Im only moving my closet: 9 wardrobe boxes 14CF EACH 5 medium boxes 3 CF EACH 5 large boxes 4.5 CF EACH Need service load and unload boxes. And door to door delivery. My building in NYC requires certificate of insurance from company to be able to deliver boxes.

Can pay $1,000. The shipper will have to coordinate with the condo front desk for access assistance. They are accommodating. All of the contents fit in 3 “closet-sized” storage units, that are within the condo building, downtown Austin. 2 of the storage lockers are in the parking garage area in a lower level, and 1 storage locker is on a higher level. Condo staff will escort. Freight elevator will be used and we will have to schedule that with building. Items: 2 bicycles, 1 large lamp, wood deck chairs in box, inversion table, 3 small lightweight exercise equip, and I would guess 15 misc boxes (not large). The pictures depict the 2 lockers that do not have many things in them. The 3rd locker I do not have a picture of, is packed (however…it is a “closet sized” storage locker, like the ones in photos). Downtown Austin traffic is rough. I suggest scheduling for sometime between 10 am and 2 PM.

Hard to say how many boxes it will be, as I have not packed yet (moving in a couple months), but I tried to give an estimate. The items I need moved are: -a twin mattress and boxspring -a cabinet/table (3'7" long x 1'7" wide x 2'8" high, roughly 100lbs, photo included) -a small chair (2'10" tall x 2' x 2'6", roughly 30 lbs, photo included) -a metal cart w/ fabric drawers (16" x 12" x 44", roughly 20lbs, photo included) -a floor lamp (6' tall, photo included) -4 tires mounted on wheels -an electric piano (3'10" long x 1'4" wide, photo included) and its collapsible stand -a mixer and two speakers, their stands, a mic stand, and a small box of cables -clothes and shoes that will probably take up roughly 6 medium size boxes (picture of my closet is included to give you an idea-- I will drive some of the clothes myself so I have enough to last a while) -a few medium size boxes of other miscellaneous items (crafting supplies, books, etc.) Maybe 5 boxes? Willing to ditch the chair and the cabinet if I have to. If you need more details or have any questions, I'm happy to answer.

I have an average sized closet in a second floor apartment that I moved out of full of my things. Everything is either in a large garbage bag or a box, or a musical instrument in a case (two guitars and one uke). I need it shipped over to my new place in California. Not a big move; I've fit it into a mid-size SUV before.  

All inside, under&ontop of dresser in boxes(stones&rocks -gentle). Wrap breakables (bowls/glass wear). All books. Dresser itself-tape bottom & drawers shut. MacBook. Wicker basket w/ books. Cheetah comforter, pillows matching comforter. *Box that has cowhide on it (important),cat headphones, all dream catchers, glass pyramid on side table by dresser, crystal side table next to bed, women clothes incloset, metal stands, all hangers & purses, marble side table & everything on it, Yingyang sign/moons poster, other art under moon poster, Native American paintings (important)! Pictures of me & father, guitar(inside case). Items inside restroom include all female jewelry, all small breakable stuff, jewelry(fragile), leaf bowl in center, all stuff under the sink on the right & in the bottom and 2nd drawers, Buddha, white & black Bluetooth speakers, dog bowls, everything in bathroom closet, poster inside container tube(important), orange red yellow blanket at the top. Items found in garage include Chevy sign, Jesus Loves You box, cherrywooden bar. Final items include 2 chairs in kitchen, art work on the Shelby, dirt bike boots helmet & goggles. Anything else he might say is mine PLS SHIP!  

Is old made of wood and glass. Want to make sure glass does not break.  

 

 

I could most likely meet the shipper along a major highway, on the Kentucky side of the Ohio river, to save some miles.  

Everything for you to ship will be in this one single bedroom closet that is in our ground floor condo; picture shows front door and the car is the space where you can back van/truck in. Deliver to the storage closet that is in our carport at our condo in Sarasota. A neighbor will unlock it for you. I think 25-30 boxes pretty close to accurate (as we are still packing and will let you know final count before pickup). Most are UHaul small boxes, some are UHaul's small cube-shaped book boxes, and other boxes of similar size. Knowing relative cost will help us decide how much to leave stored up north and how much to ship to Florida condo. The "wardrobes" listed are really 2 medium size suitcases of clothes. Question: Most everything in the plastic bins is china or porcelain, fragile and very well-wrapped in multiple layers of bubble wrap--do we need to repack into Haul boxes or good as is?  

 

 

Mostly boxes and plastic crates. 1 single bed, 1 futon, one safe, file cabinite, two large plastic tubs, desk, two book shelves, cat crate folded,two computers, small pcs of furniture, 2 light dresses, 1 washer machine, 1 tall plastic closet, 40 crates plastic boxes, three chairs,kitchen cutting board furniture on wheels, folding chair, entertainment center, cat crate,8 pcs of boxed files,empty water jugs, Tall plastic with drawers on wheels, cd holder goes in circles, about 40 boxes, water dispenser, 8 made of shelves plastic and light metal, I need two men to pick up at ground level and two men delivere at 2ed Story level. and i think that is it from the top. thank you. We have 2 wooden kitchen chairs, one folds up. 1 folding closet door. And 1 bed comfortable that is in a trash bag. I can palletize, shrink wrap. Or leave loose. Going to Kings campers right off interstate in wi.  

This is a pretty small move, it's the contents of one closet in an apartment. About 6 small boxes and two medium boxes. There's also a few items not in boxes: One 12 ft. long backdrop paper roll, one 6 ft long backdrop paper roll, a cello in a hard case, a large duffel bag and a few smaller items.
