* I have been trying to do this for three years but could not get the financing until now. I now have the funds and am ready to proceed.
It would make more sense to find a boat yard with access to the Pacific where the fly bridge / pilot house can be reattached such that the overland transport can be minimized; open to suggestions in the bid.
* Would like to move the vessel from Cincinnati to half moon bay or to a boat yard with access to the Pacific within a reasonable distance (don't want to put huge hours on the motors or spend more than a few weeks in route on the water)
* Flexible on time line but ready to go
* I believe that the Fly bridge / pilot house will need to be removed, glass windows and sliding glass doors removed and packed, and two trailers used if on land. Bid is to include all the above and putting it back together (all fiber glass) and gel coating on arrival; looking for a complete solution, insurance, etc ...
One previous bid said it was possible to do this without removing the top; that would be great but it is not clear if that is a correct statement. I would be delighted to hear it is true.
