5 Bedroom House Moving Services

 

 

We have three 10 x 30 storage units in granite city, Illinois, that need to be moved to Fort Lauderdale Florida. Two of the units are fully packed and the third one is half full. Mostly boxes and furniture.  

 

 

 

2,700.00 budget for a 34' long truck.  

 

 

There will be some help loading and unloading but no fork lifts or loading ramps. Will need to provide own dolly and other moving equipment along with padding, etc. Here's a list of furniture to be moved: 40 night stands light wood 20 yellow armchairs 19 armoires 19 wardrobes 19 king size chippendale head boards 19 desks 19 table sized chairs 19 coffee tables 20 luggage benches 80 wooden framed pictures 39 mirrors 100 lamps 1 sleeper sofa  

one level to one level, lots of boxed goods It took a 26 ft box plus 12 ft trailer last move , I do not have load un load labor  

Entire 4 bedroom house crated/boxed in warehouse in Anchorage. Needs to get to Michigan. Total weight in 9,300 lbs. Warehouse will load in the shipment in Alaska. Looking for bids to deliver. Your company must have prior feedback. Time frame is open for a back load to MI. Time frame appears to be toward the end of November. We had the original load set to go last year and pulled the plug and left it in storage while we did a full house remodel.  

items in storage unit. 10x30 unit. also golf cart must be transported with shipment. bar 2 stools 2 bookcases 1 bench 2 couches 10 chairs 1 lg chest 1 desk with hutch 4 dressers 1 bed 4 bikes kitchen table 3 tvs misc pictures/art40+ boxes. Fridge oven dishwasher. Queen mattress and box spring. Head board footboard. I'm sure there are other items. all items are saran wraped or boxed. unit is pretty packed.  

1 large job box, Gun Safe, 1 medium job box, Miscellaneous tools  

We will require 1-2 days of service provider packing and loading, along with inventory of boxed items. Will also need boxes for provider packing of clothing, small kitchen appliances, books and other miscellaneous household items.  

White Glove Service Needed My parents and I are switching homes. They live in a 4br home and I live in a 3br Townhome about 3 miles away. We want to load both houses and unload both houses on the same weekend. Our preferred plan is to have two crews working simultaneously and to get it all done in one day. House #1 - Townhouse is 1br set (bed, frame, mattress, dresser), one dining table, sectional sofa, 2 kitchen tables, 6-8 bookshelves, piano buffet table, 2 dressers, 15 boxes. Washer, dryer 2 refrigerators. House #2 - single family home 4 beds, 2 dressers, 3 sofas, 1 sectional, dining table, kitchen table, 2 office desks & chairs, treadmill, 40-50 boxes. 3br upstairs, 2 on 1st floor. Bookshelves. Washer/dryer, 2 refrigerators. 2 tv's I'm sure I left stuff out, not much - small stuff like small bookshelves, stands, lights and so on. NOTE: we have pre-staged many items for an easy load. Do not need to pack boxes. We are open to alternate plans or a two day plan.

we moved ourselves to our current location 5 years ago. it took two 26'x8'x7' penske trucks, plus two additional trailers; a 10'x6'x3' and a 16'x8'x6'...lots of stuff. we would like a quote that's is based on boxing and loading everything ourselves. we would also arrange to have our own labor to load and unload everything. insuring the contents against damage would also be our responsibility (except for complete loss due to a catastrophic situation, like accidents, fire, etc).  

 

 

I WILL REQUIRE PROOF OF INSURANCE, COPIES OF NECESSARY LICENSES AND WILL NEED TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR THE TRANSPORTATION OF THESE GOODS. There will also be large "gardening" tools such as large "weed wackers", an ax, a chain saw as well shovels, yard brooms,small pressure washer, etc. There will be 3 medium size saddles with bridles and blankets.  

 

I think we'd prefer to do an hourly rate rather than a flat fee. I am willing to guarantee a minimum number of hours (maybe 2 or 3) as well, even though I suspect the move will take longer than 2 or 3 hours.
