3 Bedroom House Moving Services

Residence I'm moving from has an elevator in it as does the residence I'm moving to. Includes the following rooms/items: Office, Peloton exercise bike, living room, dinning room, kitchen, bathrooms, and one bedroom.  

 

There is also a queen size box spring, folding table, and a Jeep hard top. Jeep hard top is 6'x 2'2"x5'3" and weighs 140 lbs. The 4 tvs are 65", 50", 32", 30" Additional pictures available but you can only post 10 on a listing. I have dimensions for all items if needed.  

I will pack all small items (boxes). I need help with protecting the at least a wrap over the big items. The bunk bed in the kids room will be dismantled (I can do that), but I need help dismantling the king bed, guest bunk bed, and TV set, and assembly back in the new home. Scope of work include putting items inside the destination house. I added pictures to the listing.  

This is the best estimate on packing I could do! A word on the piano: it is 100 years old and pretty sturdy. There will be SOME disassembly needed and definitely will take 2-3 people to carry but that's definitely the biggest challenge by far with this. We'll likely move some of the smaller stuff to the house on our own.  

We are not moving a lot of big items (fridges, couches) as the house we are moving into is furnished. I am a shipper myself on the site of mostly small items and do not expect you to transport items you have not been compensated for. I would expect to fill a 26 foot truck with the amount of boxes we have and furniture items. Anything not fitting on a 26ft truck I would move myself. You will have minimal help loading and unloading so would need at the minimum a two man crew. I will also have everything shrink wrapped, blanket wrapped or in a box.  

 

These are estimates of what is being moved. We may move some patio pieces before move date. We also have a pool table that is collapsable that may be going with us. The move is from a house (shared w/ roommates) and a storage unit to one 3 BR home. All in the same area of town.  

Big furniture includes: 1 king mattress set/frame, changing table, 2 dressers with 1 mirrior, exercise bike, crib. Everything will be wrapped/boxed and ready to go. Will be assisting with moving the boxes/furniture. Pick up will involve two separate locations (apartment and a garage). Drop off location is to unload truck directly into a car garage. Will likely need a 20 foot truck to move everything.  

 

Couldn't list all pictures. Most furniture is light and easy to carry. The white bed and large white dresser are very heavy. I also have a barbie cardboard type dollhouse. Original mover cancelled last minute. Moving from 2 story house with garage to a storage unit. All items packed but furniture will need to be protected. Artwork will need to be removed from walls and protected as well. Also need to transport a Volvo Wagon - can ship separately if unable to trailer car.  

 

 

 

 

Pictures available upon request. Services requested are unhooking and hooking up washer and dryer, disassembling and reassembling 2 beds, loading and unloading all household items and furniture. Must have references.  

3 Bedroom Home already packed and available for pick up from storage unit 10x30 feet. Minimal furnature, mostly boxes. Unit is full. Shipping from Blue springs Missouri to Leander Texas. We will have to send the storage unit code and key  

 

One van line told us that we had about 1250 cubic feet (9000 pounds) of stuff to move. Another local company told us that I would fill a full 26-foot truck but not more. We've since decided to leave behind some of the items that were initially quoted (like washer/dryer and some furniture) so hopefully that gives you an idea. We are not bringing appliances but are bringing other furniture such as 2 sets of drawers, 2 twin XL mattresses + box, 1 queen mattress + box, couches, dining room table, 2 bicycles, tools, etc. By no means a necessity as we already have an auto transport quote, but we also have 3 cars (2006 Volvo XC 70, 2015 Nissan LEAF, 1999 Porsche Boxster) that need to be transported. If you're interested in helping with any or all of these let me know.  

Also have some woodworking equipment which includes a table saw, jointer, router table, planer & miter saw. Delivery is to a 3 story home.  

Pick up is a 10 x 20 (drive right up to it) + a 5x5 unit. Furniture: sofa, oversized chair, small recliner, 2 metal 4 drawer file cabinets, Ikea glass bookcase, coffee table and bookcases (not glass) ALL WRAPPED AND BROKEN DOWN, washer, dryer, 4-5 lamps, various small tables and the rest is boxes and totes. There are 3 urns in their own table. In case for transport reasons you need to know. Destination is in snow country. Elevation is 6,250. We have had no snow season at all this year. All roads and highways in and out of town are completely open. I mention it only because there is always a chance to change.
