3 Bedroom House Moving Services

One van line told us that we had about 1250 cubic feet (9000 pounds) of stuff to move. Another local company told us that I would fill a full 26-foot truck but not more. We've since decided to leave behind some of the items that were initially quoted (like washer/dryer and some furniture) so hopefully that gives you an idea. We are not bringing appliances but are bringing other furniture such as 2 sets of drawers, 2 twin XL mattresses + box, 1 queen mattress + box, couches, dining room table, 2 bicycles, tools, etc. By no means a necessity as we already have an auto transport quote, but we also have 3 cars (2006 Volvo XC 70, 2015 Nissan LEAF, 1999 Porsche Boxster) that need to be transported. If you're interested in helping with any or all of these let me know.  

Also have some woodworking equipment which includes a table saw, jointer, router table, planer & miter saw. Delivery is to a 3 story home.  

Pick up is a 10 x 20 (drive right up to it) + a 5x5 unit. Furniture: sofa, oversized chair, small recliner, 2 metal 4 drawer file cabinets, Ikea glass bookcase, coffee table and bookcases (not glass) ALL WRAPPED AND BROKEN DOWN, washer, dryer, 4-5 lamps, various small tables and the rest is boxes and totes. There are 3 urns in their own table. In case for transport reasons you need to know. Destination is in snow country. Elevation is 6,250. We have had no snow season at all this year. All roads and highways in and out of town are completely open. I mention it only because there is always a chance to change.

6 medium-sized gardening pots, 5 shelving systems (disassembled)  

Will be asked to move king bed and queen bed frames(will be disassembled), along with 4 dressers and 4 night stands. King and queen mattress will also need to be moved downstairs and upstairs in new house. Downstairs furniture to move is a couch and chair w ottoman. 2 kitchen tables made of wood. Dining room table cab be disassembled. I will move the table chairs myself, not included in move.  

We would like a 26ft enclosed trailer, with our shipment only, we had a bad experience with a mixed shipment.  

40 open boxes, two benches, 1 outdoor table, 10 outdoor chairs, mics, no furniture or appliances  

While it is a 3 bedroom house, there is only one bedroom with furniture. Also need to consider the following items: Small step ladder, yard tools ie: rake, shovel etc., small folding table, weed eater, 2 sprayer containers, 2 coolers, tiki torches (3), garden hoses (2), electric pressure washer (small), foot locker (small, electric leaf blower, 25' garden hose (2), and various other small items. There will probably not be more than 20 boxes and five picture packs.  

 

Motorcycle and 1 rifle will have to be loaded with the household goods  

 

We are not moving the entire house, only the above-listed items. Thank you!  

additional to these pictures there are a thread-mill, a home gym, 6 night stands, one additional 3 seater sofa, 2 disassembled queen headboard/foot board + matresses, 2 chairs, one small round table, need to do 2 stops at loading (home and storage unit) and 2 stops at destination home and storage unit) home at loading is a 2 story home but most of furniture is on first floor, 2nd floor is only one TV stand, one drawer, one desk, 6 night stands + 2 chairs and small round table with 2 chairs, everything else is downstairs, threadmill is in outside porche, home at destination is a one story house, both storage units (origina and destination) at ground level also  

 

 

 

 

We are flexible on timing. The shipment will be ready to go after 11/11 and we'll adjust our delivery date, based on when it is picked up. It's not *really* a 3 bedroom house but we are estimating that what we are moving is an equivalent volume. Just a few pieces of furniture, a lot of boxes & a full garage. Anything that can be disassembled has been taken apart. Also add to what we've listed 30 additional small boxes, 3 wooden crates (1 is 30 x 34 x 85; 1 is 42 x 23 x 28; 1 is 17 x 22 x 25), 7 sets of shelving (disassembled), 1 cal-king mattress, 1 wooden chair, 1 empty futon frame, 1 plastic shed, 1 plastic deck box, 1 2-piece sectional couch, 2 small ikea under-desk file holders, 2 small ikea holder things (1 foot square x 3 - 4 ft tall), sewing machine/table & chair, small wicker drawer tower, folded drying rack, 1 motorcycle, 1 plastic kayak, 1 small kiln, 1 sandblasting cabinet, 2 laminate countertops (1.5 inches x 2 ft x 8 ft), plastic laundry sink, drill press, table saw, band saw, jointer, dust collector, 3 rugs, shop vac, wheeled compressor, part washer sink, 2 dresser/workbenches, sm electric fireplace (2' x 1' x 3') Report a Violation  

 

Vespa will need to be moved as well. Looking for full packing service (whereby someone will bring all required materials and pack up our dishes, books, clothing, etc).
