Car does start, but engine management light comes on, so can be driven onto a transporter.  

It's a 20 min journey, car will drive onto transporter  

 

 

Thank you for all that have contacted me with offers. I don’t want to drone on about my misfortune with this car too much but I bought this car off a trader in Durham, believe the guy lives in Peterlee. Driving home it started using oil and later found out from a mechanic that the engine is knackered. To cut a long story short the trader won’t refund me and is insistent on repairing it so I am running out of cash on this one. My budget is approx £100 possibly slightly more. Would really appreciate some help on this one guys. Thanks in advance. Dan
