Cheap Piano Moving Services

 

This piano is to be relocated from Surrey to Buckinghamshire, preferrably during the first week of October 2011.  

Alas, I do not have the correct measurements except for the length of it and do not have the weight (very difficult without putting the whole thing on mega-scales!). It should be possible, based on this, to give a price.  

There is a piano that we want to be taken away from the destination (Southport)

I have no idea how heavy the piano is, not sure how to weigh one so have put 50kg but the actual weight is unknown  

 

I can provide extra men to help lift either end. No special insurance required as the piano's value is low. Ideally I need this moved this week or next week. Ground floor to ground floor removal, of about 2 miles.  

also want to move 2 seater leather sofa; 2 x leather recliners, a large rug and a piano stool  

I have to move some other flat stuff, like a table, a small freezer and personal items (e.g. clothes). The pick-up place is on the third floor, and the destination is on the ground floor. I need the moving to happen on the 7th. I will consider bids only until Monday midday, to have give reasonable time to the selected company/people to get organised.  

 

Ground level removal  

If interested, we have a wardrobe (with mirror) to go back from GU35 9nd to Shrewbury sy30hj so if heading back you can quote for this as well. No urgency delivery wise

There are stairs to navigate at the pick up point although may be possible to take down a slope.  

 

The weight of 100kg is a guess. I don't know what it weighs. It's just a standard baby grand!

castors on piano no use for moving it. A piano trolley will be needed
