My dog loves people, but doesn't do well with other dogs---as long as she's kept in her kennel, she'll be fine.  

On 12/9/09 Brenda pulled Joy from the Springfield, MO animal shelter. She's been trying to fly her to NC but due to pilot scheduling and the weather, it hasn't worked out so now she's working on ground transport. Joy is a sweet senior Border Collie. The vet estimates her age between 8-10yrs old. She's been spayed and brought up-to-date on her vacs. She was so emaciated (32 lbs), the lady who pulled her for me along with the lady who is boarding her, wondered if she would pull through the spaying. Only after speaking with the vet did I allow her to get spayed. She's been boarded for over a month now so hopefully she's gained some weight. I've also been told she seems to be a bit arthritic in the hips. The 2 pictures attached are of Joy. They are horrible pictures but the only ones I have. The pictures look as if Joy is a red & white tri but she's actually a black & white tri. If you can help Brenda help Joy get to her adopting home, you'd definitely be one of the transport angels that help us. - Let us know what you can do to help. Thank, Brenda  

Vosco, the Golden, is 9 years old and Dasie, the Border Collie is 3 years old. Both are house dogs and being from Arizona are use to air conditioning. They need picked up before the 20th of July. I don't currently have a carrier for her, but if necessary I could arrange to have one purchased for her prior to her shipment (will take me some time to get that arranged). She's pretty timid so I don't think a carrier is really critical.
