2 Bedroom House Moving Services

 

 

I'm assuming 5000lbs based on when we moved here. Not a lot of furniture, mostly boxes. Large tractor trailor will not make it to the Saskatchewan address - dirt road  

 

The kitchen table is a very heavy glass top expandable table. It CANNOT be lifted by the glass top but by the mechanism below. 2 wardrobes are in the basement.  

HELP! We had a mover booked and his truck broke down and he is not fixing it!!! We have a 1 year old son, flights book and need movers.

In addition to the list above there is a heavy cast iron letterpress on wheels that needs a few people to move. Footprint 3 x 4, height under 5 feet. See photo. We can arrange for help moving that if necessary. Press is in garage with alley access, rest of things in house. Three steps up into house. A lot of our furniture folds or we have broken down. We estimated that we would need a 17' truck tightly packed if we were to rent. Due to a career transition and the need to travel for some family stuff we are on a tight budget. We are weighing our options against a self-move which we estimate around $1400. We do appreciate your consideration and understand the costs and efforts of moving, esp to the Island. We are here in the hopes that we can find that shot in the dark- a convenient line-up of someone's schedule and the desire to get out to the Island. We are well packed and flexible on delivery date.
