This boat is professionally balanced on trailer with bunks and bow eye, shaft drive boat. If this boat is shipped through Canada only the bridge will have to come off as it is 14'9 on trailer. If this is shipped through the USA and up in to Alberta then the bridge can stay on but over soze and height permits will be required. Please advise when submitting bids. Boat will be ready for shipment the week of October 19th. Loaded weight will be 13,000 lbs. I would prefer shipping with bridge on. If a shipper requires bridge to come off then Biddles marine will take it off and provide a schematic for re assembly. Preference will be given to shippers who can re assemble the bridge once it arrives in Calgary.

Boat is in poor but restorable condition. Twin inboard engines. The marina estimates net weight to be 8,000 - 10,000 lbs with the fly bridge removable if necessary for transport. The boat is about 40 years old and is on "death row" at the marina. The mover will have access to a lift at St. Catherines but we will probably have to use a boom truck at Winnipeg to get the boat off the trailer and on to a storage cradle. There is no transport cradle available.

I am getting too many bids with inadequate equipment and/or experience with 7000km trip hauling a wideload SAIL boat of 16600lbs! Sorry guys, seeing new places, free sailtrips and fill-in jobs was not what I expected to get for bids. Experienced and Pro sailboat haul with hydraulic lift air-ride trailer is the expected mode. No-one has even mentioned the myriad of expensive permitts and travel restrictions.

I was trailering this boat myself from NC to Calgary, when i got caught in the snow and ice on Highway 1 (Trans Canada) in Manitoba - Portage La prairie. I'm looking for someone who can safely tow the boat to the saskatchewan border, or to where the highway is dry. I'll take over again from there.
