EXTRA PROTECTED PAYMENTS
Processing transactions safely and securely is one of our top priorities. We’ve got several accountability measures in place to do that, including uShip Payments, our three-step payment process that ensures you’re in control of your money until delivery is made.
STEP 1: PREPAY AT BOOKING
See a gold seal next to your service provider’s quote amount? That means he or she accepts uShip Payments, our secure payment process. Simply enter your payment info upon booking, and you’ve got the ball rolling.
STEP 2: RECEIVE A PAYMENT CODE
Once you’ve prepaid in full for your shipment, you’ll receive a payment code in your confirmation email. Keep this code handy. You’ll also be able to retrieve your payment code from the top of your shipment’s listing.
STEP 3: RELEASE PAYMENT AT DELIVERY
Give the payment code to your service provider when — and only when — you’ve confirmed delivery. This will release the payment and complete the transaction. However, for animal shipments, payment codes may be released at “pickup” as required by USDA regulations.
